On June 26, 2022, the students of Earth to Sky Calculus launched a cosmic ray research balloon. This citrine crystal butterfly pendant hitched a ride, flying 109,003 feet above the Sierra Nevada mountains of Central California.

The inner yellow crystal is surrounded by a "spread your wings" lattice of sparkling zirconia crystals. A rich layer of rhodium plating ensures the longevity of the pendant and 18-inch chain.  It makes a great anniversary, Christmas, or birthday gift.

Each pendant comes with a greeting card showing the butterfly in flight, and telling the story of its trip to the edge of space and back again. All sales support the student's cosmic ray research program.
