Everybody loves Snoopy. For the fan in your life, consider the gift of Astronaut Snoopy. On July 30, 2023, this limited edition Funko Pop figurine flew to the stratosphere onboard an Earth to Sky Calculus cosmic ray research balloon. At the apex of the flight, it floated 107,501 feet above Mono Lake in California's Eastern Sierra.
 
During the flight, Snoopy experienced temperatures as low as -58 C and an air pressure only 0.5% of sea level. After two hours in the stratosphere, the balloon popped (as planned) and the payload parachuted back to Earth, landing in the Glass Mountains near Mammoth Lakes, CA. Snoopy had a wild ride, and the students got great data for their atmospheric radiation monitoring program.
