This funny stemless wine glass flew to the stratosphere onboard a cosmic ray research balloon June 1, 2022. At the apex of the flight, it floated 108,551 feet above the Sierra Nevada mountains of central California. After the balloon exploded, as planned, the payload parachuted back to Earth, landing near Lookout Mountain just south of Bishop, California.
