Baby Yoda has been to the stratosphere. The future Jedi left Earth May 21st onboard a Earth to Sky Calculus cosmic ray balloon, floating Force-free 107,611 feet above Earth's surface. After the balloon popped (as planned), the payload parachuted back to Earth, landing on a 7300 ft peak overlooking Cowhorn Valley just outside Death Valley National Park. Yoda had a wild ride, and the students got great data for their cosmic ray monitoring program.

The students are selling these adorable bobbleheads to support their cosmic ray ballooning program. Each one comes with a greeting card showing Yoda in flight and telling the story of its journey to the edge of space and back again.
