How high can the Mandalorian's jetpack fly? On Dec. 4, 2020, it reached an altitude of 103,245 feet. Full disclosure: It was assisted by a cosmic ray research balloon, launched by the students of Earth to Sky Calculus to monitor radiation in the stratosphere.

During the 2.5 hour flight, he experienced temperatures as low as -61 C, air pressures only 0.1% of sea level, and a dose of cosmic rays 100 times stronger than on the planet below. After the balloon exploded (as planned), the bounty hunter parachuted back to Earth, landing in the Tungsten Hills near Bishop, California. The Mandalorian had a wild ride and the students got great data for their cosmic ray research program.

The students are selling these bobbleheads to support their cosmic ray ballooning program. Each one comes with a greeting card showing Mando in flight and telling the story of his journey to the edge of space and back again.
