Yes, Pluto is a planet. It’s obvious. Pluto has a moon, a nitrogen atmosphere, towering mountains, deep canyons, methane dunes and a geologically active surface. Declare your support for the 9th planet with a “Pluto is a Planet” Space Pendant.

On Oct 11, 2018, the students of Earth to Sky Calculus launched this pendant to the edge of space using a high altitude cosmic ray balloon. It reached an altitude of 35.6 km (116,798 feet) above Earth’s surface, touching space like Pluto itself. After the balloon exploded, as planned, the payload parachuted back to Earth, landing in Death Valley National Park.

Each pendant comes with a greeting card showing the jewelry in flight and telling the story of its journey to the edge of space. Sales support the Earth to Sky Calculus cosmic ray ballooning program and hands-on STEM research.
